Anne is a Certified Job and Career Transition Coach and Academy Certified Resume Writer. She has headed the Career Center since 2008. Before joining the Career Center, Anne spent several years in human resources, most recently as HR Planning Manager for an international management consulting firm. Anne received a Bachelor of Arts from Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa, and a Master of Arts from the University of Bonn in Germany.

Lynnette Lee

Lynnette is a Certified Professional Resume Writer who has worked for the EBRP Library since 2011. She leads seminars, conducts mock interviews, and trains staff. She also manages the Career Center’s blog, social media, website, and YouTube channel. Prior to her library experience, she was an English teacher and private tutor. Lynnette graduated from Louisiana State University summa cum laude with a degree in education.

Cynthia Payton

Cynthia is a Certified Professional Resume Writer who joins the Career Center after working in several other library departments. Prior to this, Cynthia spent several years as a supervisor at Louisiana State University where she created training manuals, developed policy, and conducted workshops. While working full-time she obtained her bachelor’s degree and progressed toward her master’s degree in community counseling. Cynthia’s philosophy as a life-long learner is simple: Nothing ventured is nothing gained!

André de la Fuente

André de la Fuente enjoys coaching patrons to develop their skills and achieve their career dreams. ​He brings over 20 years of Labor Market Information experience, specifically in employment, industry, occupational, safety, health, and workers’ compensation statistics, from the Louisiana Workforce Commission. Having taught college classes, facilitating learning is his lifelong passion. ​André is fluent in Spanish.

Matthew Hurts

Matthew joins the Career Center after several years of experience as a Library Aide, assisting patrons with computer use in the Reference department. Matthew’s experience in Reference has helped develop his guiding principle: be helpful. Being helpful could mean listening to people, it could mean being patient, it could mean being empathetic, it could simply mean being a competent employee. Matthew is eager to translate his experience from Reference into assisting patrons in a more concentrated manner in the Career Center.
